Fordyce-Eakes Mr. Spencer Fordyce, of near Willow Grove, and Miss Bessie Eakes, of Oxford, N. C., were united in marriage, Tuesday, October 21, at the parsonage of the First Baptist church of Oxford. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. John Eakes and is an estimable young lady. The groom is a son of Spencer Fordyce, Sr., of Center township, and is a well known young farmer.
