HENRY L. FORDYCES HONOR THEIR 61ST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. Fordyce, of 191 N. Porter Street, Waynesburg celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary and the birthday of Mrs. Fordyce, Sunday, October 20. Mr. and Mrs. Fordyce were married October 24, 1907 in the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Taylor by Rev. Dorby. They are the parents of six children. Four still living are, Mrs. Myrtle Conkle, Mrs. Laura Davis, Mr. Marguerite Buchanon and one son Harles L. Fordyce of Lompoc, Calif. Those attending the family dinner were Mr. and Mrs. John D. Buchanon of Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Conkle and Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Davis, both of Waynesburg. Their son, Harles L., and family were unable to attend. They visited with their parents and other relatives in this area in August. Due to Mr. Fordyce's health there was no celebration planned, but several friends and relatives called on Mr. and Mrs. Fordyce during the day. Newspaper article, source unknown
