GROOMS-SPROAT - Married by Rev. John C. McMinn, at his residence on Pine street, Jefferson, Pa., June 17, 1905, Clinton Christopher Grooms, of Khedive, and Miss Jennie M. Sproat, of Lippincotts. The groom is a son of William Grooms, Jr., and his estimable bride is a daughter of Jacob Sproat, and one of Greene county's most successful school teachers. A reception and dinner were given at the Grooms' home, the 18th. Both are deserving young people, and have the best wishes of a host of friends. Waynesburg Independent, June 22, 1905
