To Honor 50th Anniversary With Open House Sun. WAYNESBURG - Sons and daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Russell E. Headlee of Sherman Ave., Waynesburg, will hold open house at the Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church, Garards Fort, on Sunday, Nov. 28, 1976 in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary. Hours will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. They request that gifts be omitted. Mr. and Mrs. Headlee were married November 27, 1926, in the Methodist parsonage at Cumberland, Md. Mrs. Headlee is the former Edythe Strosnider, daughter of the late Thomas J. and Ethel Conway Strosnider. Mr. Headlee is the son of Ethel Rose of Kirby and the late Mark Headlee. They have three sons, R. Gene Headlee , of Waynesburg, Wayne A. Headlee of Tempe, Ariz., and Thomas M. Headlee of Rogersville, three daughters Mrs. Clarence (Lois) Johnson of Garards Fort, and Joan Headlee and Mrs. Peyton (Carol) Middleton, both of Washington, D.C., and 22 granchildren. Both Mr. and Mrs. Headlee are former school teachers and are active in both church and community affairs. Mr. Headlee , who served four terms in the Pennsylvania General Assembly as representative from Greene County, has been associated with the lumber business for the past 39 years.
