Miss Lottie Ankrom
Miss Lottie Ankrom, one of Franklin Township's most prominent residents, died at her home on the Waynesburg-Carmichaels road Friday night, March 11, 1938, at 8:30 o'clock. She had been in poor health for the past four years. The deceased was a daughter of Arthur I. and Margaret Fordyce Ankrom, deceased. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. H. L. Sproat, of Waynesburg. Miss Ankrom was an active member of the Coallick Methodist Protestant Church and for many years has been active in the work of the Independent Grange and served on several occasions as a state delegate to Grange conventions. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence with the Rev. O. W. Bolton officiating. Interment will be in the Smith Cemetery.
