Ewing W. Baily, 81, Imperial, a former resident of Greene County, died at 9:20 p.m. Sunday, April 4, 1976 in Ohio Valley Hospital, McKees Rocks. He had been hospitalized since April 1, when he was injured in a fall, but death resulted from a heart attack.

Mr. Baily, a son of Elva B. Baily and Ida Knight Baily, was born September 13, 1894 in Whiteley Township, near Kirby. He was a farmer and resided in Whiteley Township until 12 years ago when he and his wife moved to Imperisl to reside with their daughter and her family. His wife, Plesa Ana Baily, died January 4, 1966.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Paul (June) Cumpston of Imperial; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.


BAILY - Friends of Ewing W. Baily of Imperial, formerly of Whiteley Township, who died Sunday, April 4, 1976, will be received from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Samuel P. Weaver Funeral Home, Waynesburg, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, by the Rev. William Ryan. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
