Roxie Black, 78, of Riverview, Mich., formerly of Greene County, died September 11, 1979, in Riverview after a brief illness.
She was born November 9, 1900, in Rogersviulle, the daughter of the late Henry C. and Dora Fordyce Sellers. Mrs. Black had spent her early life in the Clarksville-Rices Landing area and attended the Clarksville Christian Church. Her first husband, Edward Dukate, died in 1922. Her second husband, John Black, died in 1975. Mrs. Black is Survived by two sons, Edward Dukate and James Black, both of Detroit, Mich.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank E. Sellers of Clarksville R. D. 1 and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Glenn and William Sellers and one half brother, Albert Custer, are deceased.
