Helene E. Blake Member of Holbrook Christian Church Helene E. Blake, 84, of Holbrook R.D.1, died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 1998, in Bialko's Rest Home, Waynesburg. She was born May 14, 1914, in Jackson Township, Greene County, a daughter of Ross Daniel and Lucretia Garfield Bayard Evans. Mrs. Blake resided most of her life in Jackson Township, and was a 1932 graduate of Waynesburg High School. She served as treasurer for Holbrook Christian Church and was a member of the Polly Wayne Garden Club of Waynesburg. In November of 1983, she married George Blake, who died July 13, 1990. Surviving are two stepdaughters, Linda Horr of Dearborn Heights, Mich., and Ruth Stewart of Oak Forest; and a stepson, Keith Blake of Holbrook. Mrs. Blake was the last of her immediate family. BLAKE - Friends of Helene E. Blake of Holbrook R.D.1, who died Tuesday, October 20, 1998, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Rush Funeral Home Inc., Main Street, Rogersville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 24, with the Rev.
