Mrs. Louella Blaker
Mrs. Louella Blaker, aged 70 years and 23 days, widow of U. P. Blaker, died Thursday morning, July 16, 1942, at her home in Amwell one mile south of Amity on Route 19, after a brief illness. Mrs. Blaker was born in Perry Township, June 23, 1872, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Jane Dulaney Headlee. She married U. P. Blaker, who died 11 years ago. She is survived by one son, O. H. Blaker, of Uniontown; three grandchildren; one brother, P. L. Headlee, of Waynesburg, and three sisters, Mrs. Nancy Eddy, of Morgantown, W. Va.; Mrs. Bess Minor, of Mt. Morris, R. D., and Mrs. Zora Whitehill, of Brave. One son is deceased. Mrs. Blaker was a member of the Shannon Run Methodist Church. Friends are being received at the Blaker residence.
BLAKER - Funeral services for Mrs. Louella Blaker, widow of U. P. Blaker, will be held Saturday afternoon, July 18, at 2:30 o'clock at her late residence one mile south of Amity on Route 19, with the Rev. Harry Headlee, of Swissvale, officiating. Interment will be in Greene County Memorial Park. Friends will be received at the Blaker residence at any time. George I. Church, Waynesburg funeral director, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
