Ocle Hugh Blaker

Waynesburg - Ocle Hugh Blaker, 78, of 252 1/2 S. Richhill Street, Waynesburg, died Tuesday at his home of an apparent coronary occlusion.

He was born April 17, 1897 at Perry Township near Mt. Morris, the son of the late Porter and Lozella Headlee Blaker.

His wife, Hazel Minor Blaker, to whom he was married on May 1, 1915, survives.

He spent his early life at Mt. Morris, several years in the Amity, Uniontown and Greensburg communities, and the last 14 years of his life at Waynesburg. He was a member of the Lakeside United Methodist Church at Dubois; a retired foreman with the New York State Natural Gas Company, retiring in Macrh, 1962; he was also a farmer and stockraiser.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Kenneth M. Blaker, Bradenton, Fla., and Charles L. Blaker of Waynesburg; four grandsons, Donald, of Bradenton, Hugh of Beltsville, Va., William of Uniontown and Donald of Uniontown; two great-granddaughters, Pamela and Billie Jo; one great-grandson, Bryan.

One son, Don, preceded him in death.
