MRS. LAURA BOWLER, aged 84 years, of 741 Johnson Ave., Morgantown, W. Va., formerly of Center Township, died unexpectedly at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 1968, in the home of her sister, Mrs. Ina Martin, of Sycamore, R. D. 1.

She was born February 9, 1884, in Greene county, a daughter of Frank and Ella May Crouse Willison.

Her husband, Henry Bowler, died October 20, 1947.

Mrs. Bowler had lived most of her life in Center Township, but for the past 20 years had lived with her daughter in Morgantown.

She was a member of the Rogersville Christian Church and for many years had taught the Primary Class.

Surviving are one daughter, Ruth, wife of James Turner of Morgantown; one granddaughter, Ramona Kay, wife of Antonio Fernandes, of California; two sisters, Mrs. Ina Martin, of Sycamore, R. D. 1, and Lenora, wife of Melvin Stockdale, of Rogersville; and one brother Alonzo Willison, of Waynesburg, R. D. 4.

Two brothers and two sisters are deceased.
