NANCY LEMLEY CASSIDY

Mrs. Nancy Lemley Cassidy, 79, well known resident of Mt. Morris and widow of Lloyd Cassidy, died at 5:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 1953, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Brushell of Mt. Morris.

Born in Perry Township on Dec. 31, 1873, Mrs. Cassidy was a daughter of the late George and Emily Headlee Lemley. She had resided all her life in the Mt. Morris community and was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Mt. Morris.

Mrs. Cassidy's husband preceded her in death four years ago.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Brushell, in whose home she dies, and Mrs. Lulu Wade, also of Mt. Morris; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ella Anderson of Mt. Morris, and two brothers, P. H. and Garland Lemley, both of Mt. Morris.


CASSIDY - Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Cassidy of Mt. Morris, widow of Lloyd Cassidy, who died Monday, Nov. 9, 1953, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, from the Assembly of God Church, Mt. Morris, with the Rev. W. C. Long officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Friends will be received at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Brushell of Mt. Morris after 7 p.m. today (Tuesday). Church Funeral Home, Waynesburg, in charge.
