John Church, Sr., died at his home in Franklin township, Tuesday evening. He was past 60 years of age and was a well known citizen, having been born and raised at Rogersville, this county. He purchased the William Reese homestead a year or two ago where he had since resided. He leaves two children, one son, Charles, and a daughter.
