J. W. (Bijah) Cole J. W. (Bijah) Cole, 79, of Bristoria, died at 12 noon Sunday, January 1, 1961 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Cole was born September 30, 1881, in Wayne Township, a son of Peter and Hannah Cooper Cole. His wife, Dora Miller, died March 25, 1947. He was a resident of Richhill Township nearly all his life and was a prominent area farmer. He had owned and operated the Bristoria Mill for some years and was a Greene County poor director for a number of years. Surviving are one son, Duwayne, of Bristoria; four sisters, Cella, wife of Bert Gump, Laura, wife of Inghram Kent, and Mrs. Florence Shultz, all of Brave, and Elizabeth, wife of Hal Patterson, of Waynesburg R. D. 5, and one brother, W. O. Cole, of Brave. Two sisters and two brothers are deceased. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA)
