Mrs. Nancy Cole
Mrs. Nancy Cole, aged 77 years, widow of John Cole, died Monday night, April 3, shortly before midnight at the home of her son, Jesse Cole, near the Pursley Baptist church. Mrs. Cole had been an invalid for the past twelve years, suffering from rheumatism. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Fordyce and was the last of a family of ten children. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. Her son, Jesse Cole, with whom she resided, is the only surviving child. Three grandchildren also survive. Shore funeral services were held at the Cole home Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, and further services were held in the Pursley Baptist church, with Rev. J. F. Pry, of Hollodays Cove, W. NANCY COLE DIES AFTER A LONG ILLNESS Waynesburg, April 4. - Mrs. Nancy Cole, aged 77 years, widow of John Cole, who had been a invalid for the last 12 years as a result of an attack of rheumatism, died last night shortly before 12 o'clock at the home of her son, Jesse Cole, near the Pursley Baptist church. Mrs. Cole was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Fordyce. She was the last member of a family of ten children. Mrs. Cole was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. The son, Jesse Cole, with whom she made her home is the only surviving child. Three grandsons also survive. Short funeral services will be held at the Cole home Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Further services will be held in the Pusrley Baptist church at 1:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. J. F. Pry of Hollidays Cove, W. Va. Interment will be in the Fordyce cemetery.
