CLARA E. CORE Clara E. Core, 92, of 460 Brockway Avenue, Morgantown, W. Va., died Tuesday, September 3, 1968, at Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va. She was born November 27, 1875, at Mt. Morris, a daughter of the late David Newton and Sophronia Delaney Lemley. Her husband, Harry M. Core, died in 1914. She had been a resident of the Core, W. Va., area for the past 46 years. She was a member of the Dolls Run Christian Church until moving to Morgantown, W. Va., when she transferred her membership to the First Christian Church of Morgantown. Surviving are one son, Dr. Earl Core, professor of Biology, West Virginia University; four grandchildren and one brother, Leslie Lemley, of Mt. Morris. One son and one daughter are deceased.
