Nurse's aide was lifelong resident of Greene County
Gladys P. Craig, 74, of Clarksville R.D.1, died at 12:25 a.m. Thursday, April 1, 1999, in the home of her daughter. She was born February 22, 1925, in Greene County, a daughter of Ralph S. and Olive Fordyce Fox. Mrs. Craig had spent her entire life in Greene County, where she attended Faith Baptist Church in Lippencott. She worked as a nurse's aide at Curry Home in Waynesburg and later took care of individuals in her own home. Surviving are a daughter, Rose K. Bush of Clarksville R.D.1; a son, Larry R. Shaffer of Jefferson; three grandchildren, Kevin L., Stephen and Lori Shaffer; and a great-granddaughter. Deceased are her second husband, W. Paul Craig, who died October 26, 1974; and a grandson, Randy Allen Shaffer.
CRAIG - Friends of Gladys P. Craig of Clarksville R.D.1, who died Thursday, April 1, 1999, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, where services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 3, with the Rev.
