Clara Belle Crouse, aged 95 years, a lifetime resident of Rogersville, died Saturday, June 25, 1966, at 6:45 p.m. in the Green County Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness. She was born January 25, 1871 in Center Township, the daughter of Jefferson and Caroline Hathaway Huffman. Her husband, Edward Crouse, died in 1934. Mrs. Crouse was a life-time member of the Rogersville Christian Church. Surviving is one son, Clarence A. Crouse, of Rogersville; three grandchildren, Paul, of Rogersville; Mary, wife of Ralph Orndoff, of Everette, and Evalarene, wife of Robert Stephenson, of Waynesburg. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren. She was the last of her family as five brothers and three sisters are deceased. Funeral Memorial (Greene County, PA)
