Ernest D. Crouse

Ernest D. Crouse, 40, of Prosperity R. D. 1, died at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 1974 in McGee Hospital, Pittsburgh, after an illness of about four months.

Born June 22, 1933 in Center Township, Greene County, he was the son of Layton and Iva Breese Crouse of Graysville R. D. 1, who survive. He was married September 3, 1957 to the former Mary Lee Scott, who alos survives.

Mr. Crouse was a 1952 graduate of Waynesburg High School, and later attended machinist school at Williamsport. He was employed in the maintenance department at the Washington Mould and Machine and Foundry Co., and was a member of the International Machinists Union.

He was a veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of Claysville Lodge 447, F&AM. Mr. Crouse was also an active member of the Old Concord Presbyterian Church.

Surviving in addition to his parents and his wife are two children, Teresa Crouse and Glenn Crouse, both living at home; two brothers, Howard Crouse of Sycamore; and Roy Crouse, serving with the U. S. Air Force in Norway; and a maternal-step grandmother, Mrs. Blanche Breese of Maidsville, W. Va.
