Miss Rebecca Jane Crouse

Miss Rebecca Jane Crouse, aged 66, well known Rogersville woman, died at her home Saturday morning, January 4, 1930, after a five-day illness of pneumonia. She was a daughter of the late Enos G. Crouse, a Civil war veteran, and Mary E. Bennett Crouse, and was a lifelong resident of the Rogersville community. She was a member of the Christian church. Three brothers and three sisters survive as follows: Albert Y. Crouse, Edward Crouse and Fred Crouse, of Rogersville; Mrs. Mary Winnifred Leonard, of Rogersville, R. D. 1; Mrs. Alice Throckmorton and Mrs. Fannie Kathryn Riley, of Rogersville. Another sister, Mrs. Frank Willison, of Sycamore, R. D. 2, died about two months ago. Private funeral services, conducted by Rev. F. S. Dowdy, of Waynesburg, assisted by Rev. Larue Brown, of Rogersville, were held at her late home yesterday afternoon and interment was in the Rosemont cemetery, Rogersville.
