ROBERT CROUSE
Robert Crouse, 52, former resident of Greene County, died Tuesday evening, May 25, 1948, at 7:30 o'clock at his home on River avenue, Masontown, following an extended illness. A native of Rogersville, he was born March 22, 1896, and for several years resided in the Jefferson community where he was well known. He had lived at Masontown for the past 21 years. Besides his mother, Mrs. Betty Thomas Crouse [sic], he leaves his wife, Mrs. Eva Bonnell Crouse; one son, Wilbert Crouse, at home, and a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Smitley, of Masontown.
CROUSE - Funeral services for Robert Crouse, of Masontown, who died Tuesday evening, May 25, 1948, will be held Saturday May 29, at 2 p.m., at the Lucas Funeral Home in Jefferson. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Thursday at his late home on River avenue, Masontown, and after 10 p.m. Friday at the Lucas Funeral Home, Jefferson. Burial in Greene County Memorial Park.
