Theodore Crouse, 76, of Rogersville, died at 5:10 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 1983, in
Washington Hospital, following an illness of three days.
He was the son of the late Cam and Ella Rock Crouse and was born May 27, 1906, in Center Township, where he resided all his life. He graduated from Center Township High School in 1927 and attended Waynesburg College. Mr. Crouse was a retired foreman of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Rogersville United Methodist Church and of Harvey's Grange 1444, Graysville. Surviving are his wife, Wilma Smith Crouse, whom he married June 24, 1939; two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Ella) Mitchell of Rogersville and Mrs. Anna Braddock of Waynesburg; four grandchildren, Douglas, Jan Mitchell, Natalie and Loretta Braddock; six sisters, Mrs. Les (Sarah) Conkle of Waynesburg, Mrs. Helen Haines of Nakomis, Fla.,Mrs. Kathleen Hammon of California, Mrs. Dennis (Mary) Meighen of Lagonda, Mrs. Ronald (Carolyn) Lemley of Norton, Ohio, and Mrs. Robert (Louise) Anderson of Sycamore; two brothers, James Crouse of Graysville R.D. 1 and Walter Crouse of Nakomis, Fla.
