Ruth Fordyce Davis, 54, of 4330 Finley Ave., Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of Rogersville, died of a heart ailment following pneumonia at 4 A. M. Friday, Feb. 3, 1967 in Memorial Hospital of Southern California, Culver City. Mrs. Davis, a daughter of Garfield and Alice Haines Fordyce, was born April 7, 1912. She was a registered nurse and had resided at Los Angeles for more than 20 years. Surviving are one son, Wayne, of Arcadia, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Donna Verhoef, of Temple City, Calif.; a granddaughter, Vienna Victoria Verhoef; two sisters, Mrs. Howard Hoge, of Rogersville, and Mrs. Frank Momeyer, of McClellandtown; and five brothers, Fred, of Monaca, Eugene, of Willowick, Ohio, Ivan, of New Salem, Claude of Lamberton, and William, address unknown. Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, Feb. 7, in the Hollywood Beverly Christian Church, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Whittier, Calif.
