MARK L. DONHAM

Mark Lucas Donham, aged 42 years, died at his home in Carmichaels, Friday, February 6, following a two week illness of typhoid fever. Mr. Donham was a son of Mr. and Mrs. L. N. Donham, deceased, and was born near Greensboro. He was a carpenter by trade and was a highly respected citizen. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and was active in church work, and was also a member of the I. O. O. F. lodge. In 1923 he was united in marriage with Miss Marie Fordyce, who with an infant son, Mark, Jr., survives; one brother, Frank Donham, of Mapletown, a sister, Mrs. Lon Daugherty, of Mapletown; and the following hald brothers and sisters: Mrs. Rebecca Gapen, of Kansas; Mrs. Clementine Mossburg, of Washington, Pa.; Mrs. Mary Lazelle, of Washington, D. C.; Mrs. Caroline Boyles, of Bowlby, W. Va.; Mrs. Edward Mundell, of Merrittstown; Mrs. Ortelle Fast, of Masontown; Mapel and Victor Donham, both of Fairmont, W. Va.; and Gilbert Donham, of Rowlesburg, W. Va. Funeral services were held in the Carmichaels Methodist Episcopal church, Sunday at 12 o'clock, conducted by Rev. W. E. Dean and Rev. T. H. Mahan, of Mapletown. Interment in Garards Fort cemetery.
