MRS. BELLE F. EVANS
Mrs. Belle Fordyce Evans, 88, of 533 Sixth Street, Beaver, died Sunday, May 30, 1971, in Rochester General Hospital. She was born June 19, 1882, near Carmichaels, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Corbly Girard Fordyce, and had been a resident of Beaver since 1947. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Carmichaels, Waynesburg Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, and Lady Penn Chapter Rebekah Lodge, Carmichaels, for which she served many years as secretary. The widow of Charles M. Evans, she is survived by one son, Brice Fordyce Evans, Beaver, and two grandchildren, Mrs. William (Eloise) Gracey, Binghamton, N. Y., and Charles Evans, Cleveland, Ohio. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning in Beaver with Rev. Warren K. Martin, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Rev. William I. Gracey, pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Binghamton, N. Y., conducted the interment service in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
