HARVEY H. EVANS Harvey H. Evans, 79, of Rogersville, died at 8 a.m. Thursday, November 23, 1961, in his home, after a lingering illness. Mr. Evans was born February 21, 1882, in Jackson Township, a son of John L. and Della Hughes Evans. He married Louise Fordyce, who died September 2, 1943. Mr. Evans was a farmer and spent most of his life in Jackson and Center Townships. He served as supervisor. He was a member of Harveys Grange No. 1444, and of Pine Bank Lodge No. 296, Knights of Pythias, for 55 years. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Josephine Evans and Miss Madelin Evans, both of Rogersville; one sister, Miss Ada Evans, of Waynesburg; three brothers, J. Oscar Evans, of Pine Bank, Ross Evans, of Holbrook, and Kenneth B. Evans of Waynesburg, R.D. 5. One sister, Mrs. Margaret Thomas, is deceased.
