Mrs. Anna Pearl Fordyce, 51, of 151 South Washington Street, Waynesburg, died in her home of an apparent heart attack at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 1970. Her death was very unexpected. A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Fox, she was born July 20, 1918 in Monongalia County, W. Va., and resided most of her life in the Jefferson and Waynesburg communities. Mrs. Fordyce was a member of the Waynesburg Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are her husband, George B. Fordyce; her stepmother, Mrs. Vernie Fox, of Washington; a baughter, Mrs. Wilbur (Mary Ann) Arbogast Jr. of Waynesburg; a son, George W. Fordyce, of Waynesburg; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Adaline Bird, of Washington, and several half sisters and half brothers. Funeral services were held Friday with burial in Greene Mount Cemetery. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA)
