Bessie Fordyce Mrs. Bessie Fordyce, formerly of Holbrook, died at 6 a.m. Friday, December 11, 1964, in the Blairsville Hospital. She was born Bessie Eakes on June 1, 1881, in Oxford, N. C. She was an active member of the Holbrook Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Spencer Fordyce; one son, John Fordyce, of Munster, Ind.; two grandchildren, a brother and sister.
