Miss Flora Fordyce

Miss Flora Fordyce died at her home, on Frosty run, Friday morning, June 14, of a complication of diseases. She was aged 47 years. Miss Fordyce was a daughter of Abner and Margaret Murdock Fordyce, deceased. She was a member of the Fordyce M. P. Church and was highly esteemed. The following brothers and sisters survive: Miss Ella Fordyce, Mrs. John Morris and V. L. Fordyce, of Fordyce; James F. Fordyce and Capt. John Fordyce, of Berwick, Illinois. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. David Jones, of Waynesburg, and the Rev. Mr. Shimp. Interment in the Garards Fort cemetery.

Miss Flora Fordyce.

Miss Flora Fordyce, aged 47 years, died Friday morning, June 14, at her home near Fordyce. She had been ill of a complication of diseases since early in the spring. She was the daughter of the late Abner and Margaret Fordyce and was one of the most highly respected women of the Frosty Run section. She was a member of the M. P. church. The following brothers and sisters survive: Capt. John Fordyce and James F. Fordyce, of Warren county, Ill.; V. L. Fordyce, Mrs. John Morris and Miss Ella Fordyce, of Fordyce. Funeral services, in charge of the Rev. David Jones, of Waynesburg, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Shimp, were held Sunday. Interment in the Garards Fort cemetery.
