FRANK FORDYCE

Frank Fordyce died at the home of his father Silas Fordyce, at Rogersville, this county, Friday evening, July 27, of tuberculosis of the bowels. Deceased was 23 years of age and was unmarried, being the youngest son of Mr. Fordyce. About the first of March he went to Oklahoma, upon a prospecting trip and was in excellent health. Later he went to Wichita, Kansas, where he was sick for five weeks before returning home, which was ten days before his death. At Wichita he was kindly taken care of by Wm. Reese and Clarence Eagon, also of Rogersville, who accompanied him home. All was done for him in the way of attention and medical aid that could be done. Deceased was an excellent young man and his death brings deep sorrow upon the family and friends. Beside his father he is survived by his four brothers, Wm. L., Archibald, Garfield and Jesse and three sisters, Mrs. Belle Moore, Mrs. J. S. Orndoff and Mrs. John Kiger. The funeral was held on Sabbath.
