Grace V. Fordyce, 63, of Carmichaels R.D. 1, died at 2 p.m. Friday, October 24, 1974 after a brief illness. Born January 24, 1911 at Garards Fort, she was the daugher of Benjamin F. and Iddie Greene Patterson. She was a resident of the Carmichaels-Garards Fort area all her life, and had been a Methodist by faith. Surviving are a son, Jerry G. Fordyce of Garards Fort; a daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Arnetta) Soft of Uniontown; eight grandchildren; and three sisters, Belle Patterson of Bruceton Mills, W Va.; Marie Patterson of Waynesburg R.D. 4; and Oleva Patterson of Pittsburgh.
