Helen M. Fordyce, 68, of Good Intent, Claysville R.D. 3, died in Washington Hospital
Wednesday, August 29, 1979, at 11:50 p.m.
She was born in Richhill Township, Greene County, November 14, 1910, a daughter of Lindsey and Elizabeth Clutter Morris and had lived at Good Intent for the last 39 years. She was a member of the Windy Gap United Presbyterian Church. She was tax collector in West Finley Township for the past 46 years and a correspondent for the Claysville Recorder and Washington Observer. She was a member of the Good Intent Mothers Club. She was married May 14, 1938, to Ralph Fordyce, who died August 18, 1975. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Joyce) Darnell of Claysville R.D. 3; one brother, Herbert Morris of Claysville R.D. 3; and two granddaughters. Three sisters and one brother are deceased.
FORDYCE - Friends of Helen M. Fordyce of Good Intent, Claysville R.D. 3, who died Wednesday, August 29, 1979, will be received in the Howard V. Ferrell Funeral Home, 219 Main Street, Claysville, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Services will be held Saturday, September 1, at 1 p.m. in charge of the Rev. Harold Sprowls.
