Henry Morton Fordyce

Henry Morton Fordyce, 86, well known retired farmer and stock-raiser, died at his home in South Morris street Monday night, December 23. 1935, at 8:45 o'clock. He had been ill for about two weeks, suffering froma stroke of paralysis.

The deceased was born in Greene Township, November 8, 1849, a son of James H. and Nancy Bowers Fordyce, deceased. He has been a resident of Waynesburg for the past 12 years, having led a retired life. He was never married and is the last of his family.

Funeral services will be held from the late home Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Elmer Schott, pastor of the Fordyce Methodist Church, of which the deceased was a member. The Rev. paul Holden, pastor of the Methodist Protestant Church of Waynesburg will assist. Interment will be in the Green Mount Cemetery.
