Jesse James Fordyce Jesse James Fordyce, 73 years, of South Morgan street, died Wednesday, May 8, 1963, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. He had been ill a long time. Mr. Fordyce was a son of George N. and Anna N. Smith Fordyce, and was born July 29, 1889, in Waynesburg. Until his retirement, he had been employed as a roller in various tin mills and had at one time worked in the old tin mill, West Waynesburg. Mr. Fordyce had resided all his life in the Waynesburg area, and at one time had owned the Fordyce Hotel. He was a member of the Washington Street Methodist Church and Waynesburg Lodge 757, B. P. O. Elks. One son and one sister are deceased. Funeral services were held Saturday, conducted by Dr. H. M. Eagleson. Interment in Green Mount Cemetery.
