John A. Fordyce
John A. Fordyce, 74, of Ellsworth (Cokeburg Junction), Somerset Township, died at 1:55 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 1991, in the emergency room of Monongahela Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. He was born February 6, 1917, in Waynesburg, a son of Otto and Pearl Jenkins Fordyce. Mr. Fordyce was a retired mechanic, employed for more that 40 years at BethEnergy Mine 51, Ellsworth Division. He was Protestant. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Fordyce; three sons, Charles Albert Fordyce of Bentleyville R.D. 1, Jerry Fordyce of Ellsworth (Cokeburg Junction), and Ronnie Fordyce of Ellsworth; a daughter, Mrs. Mark (Sherry) Gaydos of Frederick, Md.; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
