Lakins Fordyce Lakins Fordyce was born in Greene County, Pennsylvania, January 5, 1854. He came to Michigan with his parents when twelve years old. He was married to Emma Whyte in 1886, who died a year later, leaving an infant baby who is now Mrs. Goldie Loomis. Eight years later, he was married to Nelly Stanley who survives him with two children, Gaylord and Bernice. He has lived a christian life for over fifty years. He passed away on the evening of February 6, leaving to mourn their loss his wife, three children, three grandchildren, 1 brother, 1 sister and a host of relatives and friends.
