FORDYCE - October 11, in Conway, Taylor county, Iowa, of typhoid fever, Leroy Fordyce, aged about twenty-eight years. Mr. Fordyce was born in this county, March 28, 1848. He had been living in Iowa nearly nine years. He was highly esteemed and much beloved by all who knew him. He leaves a wife and two children, also many connections with numerous friends to mourn his loss. Waynesburg Republican, November 1, 1876 (Greene County, PA)
