Mary M. Fordyce, 80, Kansas City, MO, passed away Monday, May 31, 1999, at St. Joseph Health Center. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 4, at Carson Funeral Home, Blue Ridge Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday, at the chapel. Mrs. Fordyce was born July 22, 1918, in Kansas City, MO, and was a lifelong area resident. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Fordyce, Sr., in 1984. Survivors include two sons, Carl Fordyce, Kansas City, MO, and Jerry Fordyce, Kansas City, KS; a daughter, Patricia Harter, Nashville, TN; three sisters, Julia Comman, California, Emma Collier, Las Vegas, NV, and Lillian Allison, Gower, MO; a brother, Mickey DeGhelder, Gladstone, MO; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
