Mrs. Frank (Ruth) Fordyce, 84, of Ipava died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the Astoria Care Center. Born April 10, 1887, in Ipava, a daughter of Alexander and Mary Cope Robertson, she married Franklin Bubb, Feb. 25, 1909. He died in 1919. Later she married Frank Fordyce, March 23, 1928, who preceded her in death April 19, 1953. Surviving are four sons, John, Raymond and Robert Bubb, all of Ipava and Donald Fordyce of Long Island, N.Y.; one daughter, Mrs. Jospehine Miller of Hammond; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Herman Robertson of Peoria; and two sisters, Miss Pearl Robertson, Ipava and Mrs. Mary Hall, London Mills. Three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Methodist Church, the Rev. Oscar Leander officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery.
