TABLE GROVE -- Sheldon E. Fordyce, 96, of Tamarac, Fla., formerly of Table Grove, died Friday, Oct. 13, 1995, at Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes, Fla. He was born Oct. 6, 1899, in Table Grove to Charles and Sarah Fordyce. Surviving are nieces and nephews. He lived in Chicago before moving to Florida 25 years ago. He worked in retail sales. He was a World War I Army veteran. Services were Tuesday at Jennings Funeral Home in Tamarac. Private interment will be in Harris Cemetery in Table Grove. Kost Memorial Home in Vermont is in charge of local arrangements. Memorials may be made to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch in Amarillo, Texas. Peoria Journal Star, October 18, 1995 (Peoria, IL) FORDYCE - Sheldon E., age 96 of Tamarac, FL passed away on Friday, October 13, 1995 at a local hospital after a brief illness. A 25 year resident having moved here from Chicago, IL. He is survived by his niece, Mrs. Elaine Underhill of Boyne City, MI; and his grand-niece, Mrs. Sarah Hendricks of -Allen Dale, MI. Funeral services and interment will take place in Vermont, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Cal Farleys Boys Ranch in Amarillo, TX in his memory.
