William H. Fordyce William H. Fordyce, 79 years, of Garrison, died Friday, June 29, 1962, in Washington Hospital. He had been ill six weeks. Mr. Fordyce was a son of Joseph and Sarah A. Fordyce, and was born March 20, 1883, in Wetzel County, W. Va. He was a retired oil field worker. Mr. Fordyce was a member of Sand Hill Church of Christ at Ned. Mr. Fordyce was twice married. His first wife, Minnie Lemley Fordyce, died in 1914. On March 23, 1919, he married Ollie Spragg, who survives. Also surviving are one son, David W. of Washington; one brother, Thomas, of Cameron, W. Va.; one granddaughter, Diane, and two daughters-in-law, Mrs. Virginia Fordyce and Mrs. Betty Fordyce. A son, Vance, died September 14, 1958. The following brothers and sisters are deceased: John and George, Mrs. Lizzie Mae Flaherty, Mrs. Flora Stevens, Lyda Fordyce, Mrs. Maude Rizor and Miss Ann Fordyce. Funeral services were held Monday in Sand Hill Church of Christ, conducted by Brother C. W. Rock. Interment in Sand Hill Cemetery. Newspaper obituary, date and source unknown (Greene County, PA)
