MRS. STELLA FOX
Stella Fox, 79, wife of William Fox, of near Kirby, died at her home Thursday, March 17, 1949, after an illness of the past several months. She was born Dec. 16, 1869, in Perry Township, a daughter of David and Lucretia Renner Headley, and spent all her life in Whiteley Township. She had been a member of the Kirby Methodist Church for the past 58 years. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons: W. R. Fox and Chauncey Fox, both of Morgantown, W. Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Dawes Kiger, Dunns Station, R. D. and two sisters, Mrs. Jane Haine [sic], Mt. Morris R. D., and Mrs. Dempsey Haines, of Charleroi.
FOX - Short funeral services for Mrs. Stella Fox, wife of William Fox, of near Kirby, who died Thursday, March 17, 1949, will be held at the late home at 2 p. m., Sunday, March 20, with further services at the Claughton Chapel Methodist Church in charge of the Rev. George Stump. Burial in the Claughton Chapel Cemetery. Friends received at the home after 5 p. m. Friday. Samuel P. Weaver, Waynesburg, funeral director.
