Mary F. Garner Services for Mary F. Garner, 86, Brownsburg, will be Thursday, January 3, at 10 a.m. in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with Rev. Toney Maynard officiating. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery, Inc. Mrs. Garner died Monday, December 31 in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. A native of Hendricks County, she was born March 30, 1898 to Oliver and Emma Gossett Fordyce. She married Otis Garner who preceded her in death in 1973. Mrs. Garner, a resident of Brownsburg most of her life, was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star, Brownsburg Chapter. She was a charter member of Brown Township Home Economics Club and Phi Beta Psi Sorority. Surviving are a son, Bill Garner, Brownsburg; daughters Geraldine Hooksma, Highland, and Margie Unger, Texarkana, AR; sister, Myrtle Gorrell, Indianapolis, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
