Frank M. Haines Frank M. Haines, 73, of Perry Township, a merchant in the Mt. Morris community for the past 34 years, died at his home Friday, December 20, 1935, at 12 o'clock midight. The deceased was born in Wadestown, W. Va., September 14, 1862, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Daily Haines. He was twice married. His first wife, Melissa Cowell Haines, died January 2, 1930. His second wife, Mrs. Bertha P. Kiger Haines, and an infant son, Franklin, Jr., survive along with three brothers: D. C. Haines, of Iowa; George D. Haines, of Charleroi, and W. S. Haines, of St. Leo, W. Va. Funeral services will be held from the late home Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock with additional services in the Claughton Chapel Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. W. T. Lanzt officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Democrat Messenger, December 23, 1935 (Waynesburg, PA)
