CANTON -- Florence Harmon, 82, of 435 Dean Court died at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1993,
at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born May 25, 1910, in Brereton to Clyde and Katherine Jackson Smith, she married Ernest Fordyce on May 24, 1937, in Carthage. He died Jan. 29, 1953. She married James E. Harmon on June 14, 1967, in Peoria. He survives. Also surviving are one son, Bruce Fordyce of Canton; two granddaughters; and one sister, Olive Stanfel of Canton. She was preceded in death by one sister, Louise. She was a lab technician at the Coleman Clinic for years, and was an active member of First Christian Church in Canton. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home, where visitation will be one hour before services. The Rev. David Seitz will officiate.
