Thelma Marie Hartley Lifelong resident of Perry Township Thelma Marie Fox Hartley, 86, of Mt. Morris R.D. 1, died at noon Wednesday, November 28, 2001, in her home. She was born May 8, 1915 in Brock, a daughter of Newton and Daisy Moore Fox. Mrs. Hartley spent her entire life in Perry Township. She was Methodist. Mrs. Hartley enjoyed gardening until she was 85. She was a homemaker and loved quilting. On September 15, 1934, she married Edward Hartley, who died September 15, 1999. Surviving are three sons, Edward Carl Hartley and James Harold Hartley, both of Mt. Morris, and John Hartley of Ruff Creek; seven grandchildren, Randy, Jimmy, Roger, James Michael, Rodney, Janelle and Jocelyn Hartley; four great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a sister, Jeanette Anderson of Mt. Morris; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a daughter, Shirley Hartley, who died in infancy; and two brothers, Homer and Lindsey R. Fox.
HARTLEY - Friends of Thelma Marie Fox Hartley of Mt. Morris R.D. 1, who died Wednesday, November 28, 2001, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., corner of Ellsworth Avenue and Route 19, Mt. Morris, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 1, with the Rev. Fred Tomlinson officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris.
