Arthur L. Headlee, 53, well known Waynesburg chiropractor, died at 9:45 p.m. yesterday, Feb. 22, 1943, in the Greene County Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Perry Township, Mr. Headlee was born September 10, 1889, a son of William Headlee, now deceased, and Mrs. Margaret Ann Lemley Headlee, who survives. He was married to Emma L. Dulaney, who survives with two daughters and a son: Mrs. Eleanor Phillips, of Waynesburg; Louise Headlee, at home; and William F. Headlee, in the U.S. Army and stationed at Camp Bowie, Texas. He also leaves one granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Ray Fox, of Mt. Morris, and a brother, Ross Headlee, of Mt. Morris. Mr. Headlee had been a practicing chiropractor in Waynesburg for the last 16 years. He was a lifelong member of the Shannon Run Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements were incomplete last night pending word from the son in the Army. Funeral arrangements are in charge of George I. Church.
