Beatrice (Orndoff) Headlee, 68, of Ashville, N.C., died Sunday, March 10, 1974 at 3 a.m. in Asheville. She was born July 14, 1905 in Graysville, a daughter of Oscar and Belle Carpenter Orndoff. Her husband, J. Carl Headlee, preceded her in death in 1950. She is survived by two sons, James O. Headlee of Durham, N.C. and Will O. Headlee of Syracuse, N.Y. She was a graduate of Waynesburg College, and a member of the First Congregational Church of Asheville. She was also a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Teachers' Sorority and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Family requests memorial contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity. Friends of Beatrice (Orndoff) Headlee, who died Sunday, March 10, 1974 will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 13 at the Garrison Funeral Home, Waynesburg, where services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev.
