MRS. BLANCHE W. HEADLEE

Mrs. Blanche Webster Headlee of 1086 Wooster avenue, Akron, O., wife of Ray L. Headlee and a native of Greene County, died Thursday, April 18, 1957 after a protracted illness.

Mrs. Headlee, who was in her 76th year, was a daughter of Isaac and Anna Stentz Webster, who were descended from early settlers of Fayette and Greene Counties. After living for several years in Pittsburgh, Mr. and Mrs. Headlee moved to Akron where they had since resided.

Besides her husband, who is a brother to Burgess Fay Headlee and Glenn Headlee, she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Alice Clutter, and Mrs. Oscar Iams, both of Sycamore, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Prior to her last illness, Mrs. Headlee had been an active member of the Unity Church of Akronfor more than thirty years and over the years belonged to several social clubs.

The body wil be brought to Waynesburg for burial.


HEADLEE - Friends of Mrs. Blanche Webster Headlee, wife of Ray L. Headlee, of Akron, Ohio, who died Thursday, Apr. 18, 1957, will be received after 2 p.m. Saturday at the Weaver Funeral Home, 182 West High street, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 21, in charge of Rev. Harry J. Headlee of Irwin. Interment will be in the Hopewell Cemetery, Center Township.
