Cecil Hamilton Headlee, 73, of Mt. Morris (formerly of Kuhntown) died at 1:15 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 1977 at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Janie H. Renner. He had not been in the best of health for the past several weeks. Mr. Headlee was born February 9, 1904 in Whiteley Township, a son of the late Francis and Laura South Headlee. His wife, Delphia Stewart Headlee, died June 24, 1956. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Darrell (Mary Ruth) Keener of Florisant, Miss.; two sons, Charles W. and Carl D. Headlee, both of Waynesburg R.D. 5; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Janie H. Renner of Mt. Morris and Mrs. Oren (Mae) Eddy of Pine Bank R.D. 1; a brother, Homer Headlee of Waynesburg R.D. 4; and several nieces and nephews. Prior to the past year and a half in Mt. Morris, most of his life was spent in the Kuhntown and Pine Bank areas. He was a member of the Brave Assembly of God Church. Mr. Headlee had followed farming and for several yeaars had been employed by the Wayne Township Supervisors. He was also associated with the lumber industry working for various lumber mills.
